The town of Tyre will stick with zoning regulations that prohibit landfills.After listening for more than an hour Thursday to local residents who overwhelmingly oppose Scepter Inc. of Seneca Falls building a landfill off Route 318, the Town Board unanimously rejected amending its zoning law to permit landfills.
