save the deer herd. the land is already polluted by military work done there. ethanol is a very very bad investment. it has driven up the price of corn by 25% already, making corn very expensive to buy. ethanol takes so much energy to produce that it is not efficient as an energy source at all. in addition, production of it is very polluting. ethanol has been overdone—we need better sources of energy. some say algae from ponds can be used instead.

Your right about the corn ethanol. But ethanol can be produced more efficently from other sources such as willow. See a later post if you haven’t already:
